Idea

DeliveryJoy was created to improve how escort services are discovered and managed in Germany. Existing platforms were outdated, difficult to use, and failed to meet modern expectations around usability and discretion.

The goal was to build a professional, trustworthy platform that protects escorts from fake profiles and bots while allowing users to find and contact suitable escorts within seconds. A strong focus was placed on anonymity, simple onboarding, and giving escorts full control over their public presence and bookings.

Solution

We designed and built a mobile-first Progressive Web App that combines fast discovery, discreet interaction, and operational control. Escorts can create and manage verified profiles, define services and availability, and accept or decline booking requests. Users can browse profiles, make booking requests without creating accounts, and receive updates via SMS or email. A dedicated admin panel enables DeliveryJoy to moderate profiles, monitor activity, and support users, ensuring platform quality from day one.

Step 5

Deployment

We clarified platform goals, user roles, and trust requirements together with the founder. Special attention was given to anonymity and quality control. Early decisions focused on defining clear MVP boundaries to avoid overbuilding while still supporting future scalability.
Multiple design directions were explored to balance professionalism, discretion, and appeal. UX decisions were validated against both escort and user expectations. Design iterations deliberately reduced friction in onboarding and booking to support fast first-time usage on mobile devices.
The platform was built using the MEAN stack with iterative reviews. Core flows were implemented early to validate usability and performance. Close collaboration during development allowed fast adjustments without disrupting the overall architecture or timeline.
Extensive testing focused on mobile behavior, booking flows, and notification reliability across devices. Edge cases specific to anonymity, cancellations, and no-shows were tested repeatedly to ensure predictable behavior in real usage.
The system was prepared for production and deployed via a structured release process to ensure stability at launch. Post-deployment checks ensured that performance, notifications, and admin controls worked reliably under real traffic conditions.

Technology & Integration

Technology

Product Design

Figma for product redesign and design systems.

PWA

Angular for building Progressive Web Apps.

Back-End

Custom back-end development for business logic and integrations.

Admin Panel

Custom admin panel for managing the entire platform.

Integrations

  • SMSAPI (SMS Notifications)
  • Custom Authentication
  • Email Notifications

Main Features

User Authentication & Profile Management

Escorts register using a mobile number and password, followed by OTP verification to ensure authenticity. After verification, escorts can create detailed profiles including services, pricing, images, and availability. Profiles remain inactive until reviewed and approved by DeliveryJoy. Escorts retain full control over visibility, edits, and account deletion through the web app, ensuring autonomy and compliance.

User Registration and Profile Management

Booking Management

Users can submit booking requests without creating an account, only providing a name and mobile number. Escorts can review, accept, or decline requests and communicate to finalize details. All bookings are tracked in a clear overview, including cancellations and no-show handling. Repeated misuse can be flagged to protect escorts and platform quality.

Booking Management

Notification Management

Booking updates and status changes are communicated via SMS or email, depending on user preference. The integrated SMS API ensures reliable worldwide delivery, allowing both escorts and users to stay informed without logging into the platform.

Notification Management

Admin Panel

DeliveryJoy operates the platform through a centralized admin panel. Administrators can review and moderate profiles, monitor bookings, and access key metrics such as registrations and activity levels. This ensures operational control, fast intervention when needed, and a foundation for scalable growth.

Main Challenge

Building trust and usability in a sensitive industry required careful balancing of anonymity, control, and compliance. Requirements evolved as real-world edge cases emerged, especially around bookings and profile verification.

What We Learned

In regulated or discreet markets, trust mechanisms must be designed into the core product, not added later. Clear moderation workflows and simple user flows reduce friction without sacrificing control.

Why This Matters for Our Partners

These learnings help us to avoid costly rework and enable faster scaling while maintaining platform integrity and user trust

Our Advice

When building platforms in sensitive industries, design trust, moderation, and anonymity as first-class features from day one - they define adoption more than feature volume.

Most Special Step

The most special step was developing our first Progressive Web App. Achieving a native-like mobile experience while keeping a single web codebase required careful architectural and UX decisions. We focused on responsiveness, performance, and mobile behavior to ensure the platform felt intuitive on smartphones without excessive customization. This project marked an important milestone for our team, proving that we could deliver a production-ready PWA within a tight timeline while meeting high expectations around usability and discretion.

STRATEGY UI/UX SAAS WEB DEVELOPMENT PCapital - How a Cybersecurity Expert Became a Software Company Karoly Aczel Founder & CEO, Perpetuum Capital Ltd. 4.9 The founding team had years of hands-on ISO 27001 consulting experience and knew exactly what companies needed to get certified - but everything was delivered manually, one client at a time. The gap was clear: companies wanting ISO 27001 certification were either paying expensive consultants for work that could be structured into a guided tool, or they were lost in documentation without any support. The idea was to build two things that work together: a professional website that builds trust and sells digital products, and a SaaS application called Sentinel that guides organizations through ISO 27001 certification and ongoing ISMS management without needing a consultant in the room. One-person consultancy → platform business Use case STRATEGY UI/UX MARKETPLACE OfficeActor - End-to-End Influencer Booking Platform Marlon B. Founder & CEO, OfficeActor Marlon B. saw a clear gap in the market: companies wanting to collaborate with influencers had no structured way to find, evaluate, and book them. Everything happened through DMs, spreadsheets, and informal agreements. At the same time, influencers had no professional tool to manage incoming requests, track contracts, or get paid reliably. The idea was to build a two-sided platform that gives both parties a clean, structured workflow - from discovery to signed contract to payment. 0 manual booking steps Use case
